South Australian Police Road Safety Section is heading to Murray Bridge to present a FREE Safer Journeys Together Road Safety Session – one for students and one for parents/guardians.

Details:

📍Location: Murray Bridge High School

📅Date: Thursday 2 November, 2023

🕡Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

How will it work? 🤔

The two sessions will be held at the same time so that parents and young drivers can arrive together and learn about the aspects of road safety that are relevant to them.

🚗The students’ session will include information about licence conditions, the Fatal Five, passenger safety and the consequences of making poor choices on the road. They will hear from crash survivor, Holly Scott on her journey to recovery from the serious injuries that she sustained in a life-threatening crash.

🚗The parents/guardians’ session will provide information such as changes to the road rules, qualified supervising driver conditions, the Fatal Five and the importance of ANCAP safety ratings on vehicles. Holly’s father, Richard Scott will speak about his experience in supporting his daughter through her recovery.
