International Students

Murray Bridge High School welcomes International Students to the school on a regular basis. Students choose to study at the school for a period of between one term and five years. Students are offered a full range of subjects (see the Curriculum Prospectus) at any year level. English as a Second Language classes are available to students who need to become more proficient in English.
As well as welcoming students under the Regional Schools Programme, Murray Bridge High School also welcomes Funabashi High School from Japan for two weeks each year.
The school also provides a programme for students from Brazil (under the Pernambucco Scholarship).

Home hosting is a very popular way for international students to learn about the Australian way of life and host families can be organised by the school where required.

Exchange Students
Murray Bridge High School welcomes exchange students from all over the world who wish to study at the school from between one and four terms.

The school works closely with the Rotary Clubs of the district to provide opportunities to local students to study abroad as well as for overseas students to study at Murray Bridge High School. Rotary International provides local students with the opportunity to participate in a one year exchange to a number of overseas countries as well as a short term exchange to New Zealand.

International Tours
From time to time, where interest exists, students from Murray Bridge High School are offered the opportunity to partake in travel overseas. In recent times students have travelled to Japan (on two different occasions) and, in 2012 to the Western Front in France.
Students wishing to be involved in an international trip should seek information from Mrs Helen Peake at the school.
