Mellen Cup
Tuesday 4th of May saw 3 Murray Bridge High School teams play cricket against Unity College as a part of the Mellen Cup. These included an open girls' team, an open boys and an 8/9 boys' team. The boys played at Murray Bridge High and the 8/9s got us off to a great start making 123 from their 20 overs with Oliver Ellis top scoring with 58. They then bowled Unity out for 15 in a great display of disciplined bowling.
Unfortunately, the open boys and girls did not fare as well, however all involved had a great time and games were played in great spirit. We look forward to sporting contests with Unity College later in the year including football, netball, and basketball.
