COVID-19 MBHS support

Current Advice

We are currently under a COVID-19 lockdown. During this time, in accordance with public health orders, schools are only open to provide supervision for children of essential workers. All school facilities such as the outdoor sports spaces, Gym and Canteen are not available.

We will continue to provide learning for our students, using our well established digital learning systems and tools.

Essential information on procedures we have in place for supporting the learning of every student at home can be found below.

Please be assured that continuity of learning of all children is our highest priority. We will continue to provide updates via email, this website and our Facebook page. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require further information.

Online Learning - essential information for students & families

Our support, procedures and expectations for continuity of learning for all students is set out in our MBHS at Home Learning Handbook - a guide for students and families

All students and families are asked to be aware of processes we have put in place to ensure we can work together to maintain continuity of learning for all and make sure no child slips through the cracks.

Online Learning - support using Digital Learning tools

We have developed an online learning tools resource, which provides information and support for students and families in using our school's digital resources including:

  • Tips for how to show your learning using online apps
  • Navigating Google Classroom
  • Using Google for Education and other learning apps
  • Chromebook troubleshooting
  • Accessing learning when offline
