Year 7 Tech Studies
To start off 2023 strong the year 7 Tech Class B with Mr Berresford is beginning their journey in Woodwork. Students have finished their safety induction and now beginning training activities learning the skills required for their major project. Students are learning everything from basic measuring and marking to hand tools and power tools in a workshop setting.
Meanwhile, year 7 students in Miss Bermingham's tech studies class are learning how to create computer generated objects with Google SketchUp. Once they master basic 3D shapes, they will move onto creating more complex objects. Students will soon be able to design and print their own original projects.
