Fundraiser for Men's Health Week
On Tuesday 5 July we held a soapy sponge throw awareness fundraiser which was our contribution to Men's Health Week. A week to raise awareness and show acknowledgment for men suffering from physical and mental health.
The fundraiser was held in the quadrangle during lunch. It cost participants $2 for three throws at a stack of bottles, if all bottles were knocked over they were then allowed to throw a soapy sponge at the teachers that volunteered.
Showing their support for the event were teachers, Mr De Michele, Mr Burkett, Mr Pratt, Mr Tabe, Mr Perkins and Mr McFarlane.
With their help the fundraiser managed to raise $100 which will all be donated to Beyond Blue.
