Pedal Prix Success
On Saturday 14 May, 17 students in two teams participated in Round 2 of the UniSA AHPVSS 6 Hour Race at the Bend. Students from both teams conducted themselves superbly and provided support and encouragement to our teams and others throughout the day, even when faced with difficulty. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the parents and caregivers who provided assistance both on the day and in the lead up to the race, without their help the students would not have experienced such a wonderful opportunity.
The race concluded with our A Car finishing in first position of our category, completing 68 laps in the 6 hour period. Year 8 student, Jayden Waterman recorded the fastest lap time in our category with a time of 4.11 minutes. Car B placed in 34th position in their category and it was fantastic to see the students giving such great support to everyone, especially our first time riders.
All students are excited for our next race which will take place in Adelaide in June.
