Aboriginal Artist visits MBHS
On Monday 7 March our Stage 1 and 2 SAASTA students spent time with local Ngarrindjeri man, artist and comedian, Kevin Kropinyeri. Our students are creating an art piece which represents their team story which will later be displayed at the Tarrkarri Centre for First Nations Culture in 2025. This design will then be turned into their guernsey for the 2022 SANTOS Aboriginal Power Cup. Kevin spoke to our students about art design, Aboriginal culture and provided feedback on their progress so far. A big thank you to Kevin for giving up his valuable time to come and mentor our young Aboriginal people.
