Push Up challenge

From June 1st - June 25th, Murray Bridge High School took part in the Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness for mental health. Over 80 students and staff participated in the challenge and completed a massive 45,331 push-ups collectively. To celebrate the participants' efforts, Mr DeMichele and Mrs Stephensen organised a culminating event for all to be involved in which included a shared lunch and presentation from Murray Bridge Headspace. Students were able to make their own smoothie using the ‘Headspace Smoothie Bike’ and collect more information about mental health services provided in the local community. Teachers Brendan Watts and Aaron Noske also participated in a quick pushup challenge with students.

We wish to thank all who were involved and thank them for their positive contribution and donations towards raising awareness about mental health in our community. All money raised will go to our local Headspace centre in Murray Bridge.
