World's Greatest Shave
On Tuesday 16 March, MBHS took part in the World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation – we’re on a mission to shave the world from blood cancer!
Every day another 47 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer. That’s one Aussie every 31 minutes. Although research is improving survival, sadly an Australian loses their life to blood cancer every two hours.
An entry fee of a gold coin donation brought a huge crowd of students and staff to the gym at lunchtime to watch the following people lose their hair for a great cause:

• Ralph
We set the goal at $3000, but at the time of writing this our total has reached $5045.64. Well done to all who were involved. Team Captain Louis De Michele and all other participants are extremely thankful for your kind donations. We would also like to give a special thank you to our hairdressers on the day, Nicole Simon from the Hair Room and Kirsty Lukey, who donated their time for a good cause. Well done ladies!
