Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Welcome back to Murray Bridge High School (MBHS) for the 2021 school year, and for the students and families new to MBHS, welcome to our school community.

This year we have a staged return for students at the beginning of the school year. This is to support our new Year 8 students in settling in and a model we will use in 2022 when we welcome Year 7 and 8 students in a double intake. As such:
Year 8 and Year 12 students will return to school on Wednesday 27 January
• Year 9, 10 and 11 students will return to school on Thursday 28 January

The school day runs from 8.40am – 3.15pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, the school day finishes at 2.30pm, after which time teachers engage in collaborative planning and professional development. Our 2021 lesson times can be found at: Timetable Structure 2021.

Uniform
MBHS is a uniformed school. If you find you need any additional uniform items early in the year, the MBHS Uniform Shop is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.15am – 9.30am. Please follow the signs to the SSO office as the uniform shop has recently been relocated. Further details about our school uniform can be found at: MBHS Uniform Information & Policy

Meet the Teacher Evening
All parents and caregivers are invited to join us at school Monday 1st February, 5.00-6.00pm to meet your child's Home Class and Subject Teachers. A sausage sizzle will be provided. I hope you can join us.

Please head to our school website: mbhs.sa.edu.au to find a wide range of information about MBHS news, curriculum, support and procedures. If you have any questions in the first few days of school, please contact your child's Home Class teacher in the first instance. Contact details for all staff can be found at: MBHS Staff Directory.

I wish your child/children the very best for 2021.

Best wishes,
Paula Hahesy

Deputy Principal
