Congratulations Murray Bridge High School

We are pleased to announce that through Schools Plus+ Murray Bridge High School has been successful in the 2020 Smart Giving round and will be provided funding of $30,000 for our Recycling Project.

Our project idea is to set up a plastic recycling program that will help the local community by reducing landfill waste, creating opportunities for hands-on learning and education about sustainability and entrepreneurship and repurposing waste plastics into items that can provide value for others. Did you know plastic bottle tops are currently thrown into our general waste but can actually be transformed into useful items? We believe this will have a strong, positive impact on our community and young people. We look forward to beginning this project with the support of Schools Plus+ in 2021.
