Entrepreneurial visitors arrive in style

DSC_2559 (Large).JPG

On Friday 31 July students were treated to visit by a number of established and emerging entrepreneurs from 'Moonshots' arriving in style by helicopter. En route to Robe, these established and emerging entrepreneurs and businesspeople donated their time to share their experience and support the entrepreneurial initiatives of students. Finalists from the Shark Tank eSchool programme (MBHS students) also pitched their businesses and received feedback.
Amongst these entrepreneurs speaking to students, was serial entrepreneur Shane Yeend, who has developed a company once valued at $180M, amongst many others. His story can be found here: https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/lifestyle/sa-weekend/games-guru-who-saw-180-million-disappear-set-to-use-drones-to-chase-new-fortune/news-story/f06790ccec5ca2efb6e2af649981620a
Sincere gratitude to Roxanne Rowland and the Home Economics team for supporting this event through student catering. Further thanks to Josh Coulter and the HPE team for lending an oval as a makeshift helipad.
