Workpace Practices Guest Speaker Program
As a part of the Year 11 Workplace Practices Guest Speaker program, we welcomed Martin Lunn the Site supervisor for the build projects being undertaken an MBHS. Martin addressed the class speaking about various jobs he has had and businesses he has run in his career. He also spoke about the construction industry, how he began work and how he progressed to being a Supervisor through night time study, learning on the job and making the most of every opportunity. He was asked a question about how a student could organise work experience on the site.
The students are keen to hear from all sorts of business people from heavy diesel mechanics to hairdressers so if you would like to tell your story, contact Michael Pater at MBHS. We would also like to hear from businesses we don't know anything about!
