Curriculum Guide

Year 12 - Stage 2 - SAASTA - Integrated Learning

Course Overview

In this subject students will complete Practical and Group Activities as well as a major Project by developing their skills in various tasks centered around Aboriginal Learnings. The final assessment task in this subject is the Folio and Discussion in which students will deliver a presentation based on all of their learning in this subject across the entire year. They will have the opportunity to attend a Leadership Workshop with other Year 12 students from around the state to consolidate their learning.

SAASTA events are a core business of the subject, including all SAASTA and Port Adelaide led workshops, Power Cup and the SAASTA Shield. Students who have completed each of the curriculum tasks in the lead up to the different SAASTA events and have attended school more than 80% over the semester are rewarded with these experiences and school assessments are benefited by the involvement in these different SAASTA events.

Students must have a pair of formal black pants and shoes for camp events.
