Students are guided through a series of activities to undertake a visual study topic of their choosing, they will study and respond to artists' works, developing an understanding of their historical, social or cultural contexts. Visual thinking is integral to the creative and problem solving process, students will document their thinking and development of ideas in a folio, this will take many forms (sketches, photographs, models etc) supporting the resolution of a final practical artwork, and an accompanying practitioner statement.
An A3 sketchbook will be provided
