This course is an introduction to a range of digital artforms and mediums that can include photography, film, graphic design and animation. Students will analyse various forms of print and screen media and consider the role of media and how media affect their intended audience. Through this students will build knowledge and skills around editing, design, photographic concepts, and the various careers that are available to them in the media industry. Students will also work individually and collaboratively to develop their organisational and communication skills. Past projects have included creating news broadcasts, stop motion films and photographic portfolios.
