Year 12 - Stage 2 - Food and Hospitality

Course Overview

Students focus on the impact of the food and hospitality industry on Australian society and examine the contemporary and changing nature of the industry. Students develop relevant knowledge and skills as consumers and/or as industry workers. Students study topics within the following five areas of study: contemporary and future issues, economic and environmental influences, political and legal influences, socio-cultural influences and technological influences.

WHS requirement of closed in shoes and hair tied back to every lesson. Students can expect some out of hours participation as catering ventures are undertaken in a Simulated Work environment.
