This course is suitable for students who may wish to pursue a career working with children.

They will then respond by researching and planning the creation of a suitable product which may include a book or toy. Students will investigate and reflect on a contemporary issue related to young children's development. Eg. Should immunisation be compulsory for childcare?
Students will be required to complete up to 5 days work placement in an early childhood setting and will be required to apply for and receive a volunteer Working With Children Check (WWCC) and complete online safety training.
