Year 9 - Food Technology A

Course Overview

Students will learn to design a food solution for nutritional purposes and how to create sustainability in food taking into consideration seasonal and local produce. Students build on their kitchen skills and processes to operate safely and efficiently in the kitchen while working with their peers.  Students will develop the skills to evaluate, create, justify and plan a food solution against a design brief criteria. 

WHS requirements of closed in shoes and long hair tied back in every lesson.
