Course Overview

In this course, students develop practical outdoor skills, knowledge and understanding required to plan and actively participate safely in natural environments in a range of challenging outdoor experiences. Students will study the following core areas:

· Environment and Conservation

· Planning and management

· Personal and social growth and development

This subject will cost $125 (ex GST) to cover the cost of the equipment hire, camping fees, excursion fees and transport (but does not include cost of food for the camps). This must be paid at the beginning at the course. Students will need their own sleeping bag.
