In this course, students develop practical outdoor skills, knowledge and understanding required to plan and actively participate safely in natural environments in a range of challenging outdoor experiences. Students also develop their sense of self-reliance and build positive relationships with people and natural environments through participating in outdoor activities such as Indoor Rock-climbing and a 3-day bushwalk to Deep Creek Conservation Park. By participating in these activities, students develop specialised skills in Rock-climbing and Bushwalking and reflect on their personal, group and social development.

· Personal and social growth and development
This subject will cost $125 (ex GST) to cover the cost of the equipment hire, camping fees, excursion fees and transport (but does not include cost of food for the camps). This must be paid at the beginning at the course. Students will need their own sleeping bag.
