Students further develop their historical knowledge and thinking skills in Year 10 through their study of the History of the Modern World and Australia from 1918 to the present. Compulsory depth studies include World War II (1939-45) and Rights and Freedoms. Assessment types vary but include: analytical writing, source analysis, oral and multi-modal forms of response.
Students are encouraged to participate in competitions, as well as an excursion for History at a cost of approximately $15 for transport and entry fees.
