Students will work with traditional and contemporary solid timber construction. Students will work from given drawings for set tasks and for their major task students are encouraged to design, plan and construct a product with relation to a personal, industry or entrepreneurial goal. Students will be involved in material selection, material preparation, machine jointing and preparation of cutting lists and project costing.
Some additional costs may be incurred depending upon material used.
WHS requirements of closed footwear, apron and safety glasses are essential and are to be worn in every lesson.
