Year 7 - Home Economics

Course Overview

Students will learn to interpret and adapt a recipe, use appropriate equipment to measure ingredients, manage their time in preparation of food and create several food products. They will develop kitchen skills and processes to operate safely and efficiently in the kitchen while working with others (peers). Students will build their vocabulary in learning how to communicate their decisions, evaluate their processes and product against a criteria.  

WHS requirements of closed in shoes and long hair tied back in every lesson.
