Year 7 - Global Connections

Course Overview

In this course students examine the connections between themselves, their community and the Globalised world. They will investigate what factors contribute to a cohesive society and how diversity here and around the world enriches and strengthens society. Through this course students will study the core components of English, History, Geography and Civics and Citizenship. The emphasis in Year 7 is on personal, community, national or regional issues or events, with opportunities for concepts to also be considered in the global context where appropriate.
